Christmas at the Center
The VTS Center played first time host as over 200 guests filled with the Christmas spirit came together for a wonderful year end celebration. The boys and staff were joined by family members, CASA workers, board members, volunteers, social workers and friends of Greenacres as they were treated to a fabulous drum performance by the VTS crew, stand up comedy by a few of the boys, holiday videos created by the students and a very touching farewell to retiring social worker, Janet Carleton, who will be greatly missed. The event culminated with a surprise visit from the "unknown" Santa providing gifts and smiles to all the kids and a delicious holiday feast graciously prepared by the fantastic duo of Mrs. Hoanh and Lisa. We want to thank the many people involved for making this year's event a huge success and to wish all a very warm holiday season and a happiest of New Years!
