5. Matching Gifts: Many national and local corporations offer generous matching gift programs whereby employees direct corporate funds to qualified non-profit institutions of their choice. Check with your Human Resource Department for the appropriate forms and submit them with your gift to Greenacre Homes & School. Some companies even match employee gifts on a 2-to-1 basis, which can increase your gift substantially and allow you to reach higher giving levels.
6. Stock: Greenacre Homes & School also accepts gifts of appreciated securities. Please contact the Development Office for stock gift instructions. All gifts of stock are sold immediately upon receipt as mandated by Development Office policy.
7. In-Kind Gift: Some donors wish to offer non-tangible gifts (of equipment or property) or gifts of service. All in-kind gifts must be approved and coordinated through the Development Office. It is the donor’s responsibility to assign value to gifts of this nature. See our Wish List page for ideas of in-kind gifts.
8. Planned Gifts: An investment in Greenacre Homes & School through Planned Gifts and Estate Plans helps ensure that Greenacres will continue its mission and help boys and young men in the future. There are many ways to include Greenacres in your plans (Bequests, Wills, IRAs, Annuities and Trusts). Below is a sample of how you can make sure Greenacres is remembered in your will or living trust. Should you wish to consider Greenacre Homes & School in your estate plans, please contact the Development Office. We will work with you on the various options for deferred giving.
